These roles are ideal for Healthcare Assistants seeking flexible, shift‑based work, with the ability to choose when and where they work without committing to a permanent contract.

Availability: Days and Nights
Setting: Private hospital
Engagement: Temporary agency work
The Role
You will support nursing and clinical teams during your shifts, delivering high‑quality, compassionate care and assisting patients with daily needs in a safe and professional clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities

Assisting patients with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and dignity

Supporting patients with eating, drinking, and nutritional needs

Providing comfort and emotional support to patients and relatives

Carrying out routine observations (following appropriate training)

Supporting basic clinical procedures and pressure area care

Preparing and maintaining clinical areas, equipment, and patient beds
-
Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider MDT
Requirements
-
Previous experience in a healthcare or care support role (hospital, care home, community, or domiciliary)

Compassionate and professional approach with strong communication skills

Ability to follow instructions and escalate concerns appropriately

Basic literacy, numeracy, and IT skills
-
Physically able to undertake moving and handling tasks

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) desirable

Awareness of safeguarding, infection control, and confidentiality
