Job Purpose
To support the efficient processing of returned hire items, ensuring all props are checked, recorded, and returned to stock accurately. The role also involves identifying and reporting any damages or losses in line with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities

Receive and check in returned props, ensuring all items are accounted for

Accurately record returns using internal systems

Identify, report, and document any damaged or missing items

Photograph returned items where required, particularly in cases of damage

Liaise with customers regarding any discrepancies or queries related to returns

Communicate with internal departments, including sales and production teams, to resolve issues

Assist in organising and preparing items for return to stock

Support the Loss and Damage Manager with administrative and operational tasks
Essential Skills & Requirements

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Good written and verbal communication skills

Basic computer literacy

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Confident and professional telephone manner

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Desirable Skills

Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or returns-based role
