Overview
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and customer‑focused Weekend Site Labourer / Site Support Operative to support a live residential project in BS1 4QP. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping a site clean, safe, and well presented, and who is comfortable interacting professionally with residents and visitors.
The successful candidate must be physically fit, punctual, and willing to carry out manual duties, including moving materials where lift access is currently unavailable.
Key Responsibilities
Site Presentation & Cleanliness
Hoovering and maintaining clean stairwells and communal areas
Keeping walkways, access routes, and shared spaces clear and tidy
Ensuring the site remains safe, clean, and presentable for residents, visitors, and workers at all times
Manual Handling & General Labouring
Manually carrying timber frames and other materials (lift not operational)
Assisting with general labouring and support tasks as required
Carrying out all manual handling in line with site health and safety procedures
Customer & Resident Interaction
Being polite, approachable, and professional when dealing with residents and customers
Maintaining a smart and professional appearance
Helping to promote a positive image of the site and contractor
Candidate Requirements
Previous labouring or site support experience preferred but not essential
Physically fit and capable of manual lifting and carrying
Presentable, polite, and confident when engaging with residents
Good communication skills and a positive, can‑do attitude
Reliable, punctual, and committed to weekend work
Able to follow instructions and work safely
Valid CSCS Card and correct PPE required
