Warehouse Inventory Technicians perform a variety of tasks related to the handling and management of valuable and unique items. Responsibilities include the receipt, storage, retrieval, disposal, and despatch of goods. In addition, they are trained to operate and maintain storage systems, both manual and automated, while ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures.
Working in close collaboration with warehouse and operations staff, the Inventory Team ensures that all work is completed efficiently and meets client or business requirements.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure all personal tasks are planned and deadlines are met.

Comply with handling procedures in line with relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Accurately record incoming goods and associated data.

Store items in appropriate locations within the warehouse.

Maintain accurate inventory management records.

Ensure the accuracy of data within inventory management systems.

Manage goods entering and leaving the facility (Goods In/Out).

Maintain stock records of consumables and supplies.
-
Adhere to quality standards and company procedures.

Comply with Health and Safety regulations and procedures.

Keep storage areas clean, organised, and well maintained.

Safely operate and maintain manual and automated storage equipment.

Monitor storage conditions and respond promptly to any issues or alerts.

Retrieve items in line with order or operational requirements.

Prepare and dispatch items in accordance with client and regulatory requirements.

Handle disposal of goods in line with company policies and regulations.

Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
