Due to an increase in workload and continued company growth, my client, a leading engineering company based near Stockport are looking to recruit a Quality Administrator to join their existing Quality team on a permanent basis.
In this role you will work as part of the Quality Team to ensure the accurate administration of all quality documentation including supplier Documentation /Certification, certification from 3rd party suppliers (NDT/ Lab Testing) and any other associated documentation
Candidates will ideally have a background in Quality Administration/ Document Control within a Manufacturing Engineering Environment. Working knowledge of quality/ materials documentation is advantageous.
This would suit an experienced Administrator with a strong eye for detail.
This position is office based 5 days per week.

Role Description

Ensure standards of quality and workmanship to BS EN ISO 9001 are met at all times

Manage incoming supplier documentation through internal control systems

Review incoming supplier certification against internal/customer specifications

Liaise with suppliers to provide pre-manufacture documentation to the customer

Track responses to documentation issues and liaise with the supplier/customer

Review internal certification

Record and create Quality Notifications for internal issues and for concessions to be sent to the customer

Control document rejection internally and with suppliers

Prepare and submit quality documentation packages to the customer

Authorise internal documents: POs, serialisation details, etc.

Effectively use the ERP system within your role
