Position: Assistant Support Worker

Salary: £22,932 annum
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Join our caring team at 234a College Road, a warm supported living home for three adults with learning disabilities. We work together to create an inclusive, respectful environment where each person feels understood, supported and empowered to live as independently as possible.
The Role
You will:
Support with personal care sensitively and respectfully
Assist with medication, health appointments and daily living tasks
Help with cooking, cleaning, shopping and local community activities
Follow personalised support plans and contribute to risk assessments
Build positive, trusting relationships and respond calmly in emergenciesAbout You
No previous care experience? That’s absolutely fine - full training, induction and a recognised qualification are provided.
We are looking for someone who is:

Able to communicate clearly and work collaboratively
Open-minded, supportive and committed to person-centred practice
Reliable, encouraging and confident promoting independence
Flexible to work shifts including weekends and bank holidaysA Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
