This is a field-based position covering Glasgow and the surrounding areas, with regular travel required. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime depending on business needs.
The Role

Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.

Respond to customer enquiries efficiently, delivering tailored solutions that exceed expectations.

Drive sales growth by engaging with customers, identifying needs, and confidently upselling relevant products.

Proactively target new business opportunities, converting leads into long-term customer partnerships while consistently achieving sales targets.

Deliver parts to customers and engineers, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.

Take ownership of stock management, ensuring engineer vans and storage units are fully stocked, organised, and ready for use.

Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and inventory to support effective business operations.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Experience within the plant, construction, or agricultural sectors, ideally in a parts sales or distribution role.

A self-motivated and organised approach, with the ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule.

A proactive, flexible attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges.

Strong customer service skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and trust.

Confidence in upselling, identifying opportunities, and achieving sales targets.

Excellent problem-solving and complaint-handling abilities.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to interpret sales data.
