We are seeking compassionate Care Assistants to join a well-established Nursing and Residential Care Home in Rugby. The home provides high-quality long-term and respite care, including specialist support for residents living with dementia, in a welcoming and person-centred environment.
With approximately 30 beds, this smaller service allows for a close-knit, family-style atmosphere, giving staff the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents and make a real difference every day. The Role
As a Care Assistant, you will assist residents with their daily needs, helping to ensure their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing. Key responsibilities include:
Supporting residents with personal care, mobility, and daily routines
Assisting with meals and hydration
Promoting residents’ social and emotional wellbeing
Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
Observing and reporting changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team
Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals
A caring, patient, and reliable approach is essential for this role.
