Teaching Personnel are looking for dedicated, resilient and motivated Behaviour Support Assistants to join a specialist provision in the Swansea area that supports pupils with behavioural, social and emotional needs.
This is a mixed‑age provision, supporting learners typically from primary through secondary age, all of whom benefit from a nurturing, structured, and therapeutic learning environment. The setting includes behavioural support pathways as well as a mental health and wellbeing provision, making it an incredibly rewarding place to work.

✅ Role Responsibilities
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will:
Support pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis
Assist young people with behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing
Use positive behaviour strategies and de‑escalation techniques
Contribute to personalised behaviour plans and interventions
Support mental health needs through structured routines
Build supportive, trusting relationships with learners
Help create a safe and encouraging classroom environment
Record and provide feedback on behaviour and progress

Support work or social care
Psychology graduates
