Learning Support Assistant – Part-time, long-term role on Mondays and Tuesdays until July 2026

Duties as a Learning Support Assistant:
Support learners in completing functional skills and vocational tasks.
Assist with small-group and individual support to help learners stay engaged.
Promote positive behaviour and encourage participation.
Help prepare learning materials and maintain an organised workspace.
Work alongside tutors to reinforce key learning objectives.
Provide encouragement, guidance, and practical help to learners facing barriers.
Maintain accurate notes and communicate effectively with the wider team.Ideal Learning Support Assistant:
Experience supporting young people or adults in educational or training settings.
Calm, patient, and able to adapt support for a wide range of learner needs.
Confident working with individuals who may require additional encouragement or structure.
Able to follow direction while using initiative when supporting learning activities.
Good communication skills and a positive, professional approach.
