Job Title: Warehouse Administrator (with Operational Support)
Location: Stone, Staffs
Salary: £13.10 an hour
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent- 12 weeks temp to perm

We are representing a growing and reputable metal manufacturing company, supplying high-quality metal products to a wide range of industries. As part of our continued expansion, we are looking for a proactive and organised Warehouse Administrator who is also willing to support hands-on warehouse operations when required.
The Role:
This is a varied role combining administrative responsibilities with practical warehouse support. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day warehouse operations, accurate stock control, and efficient order processing.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing and updating stock records using internal systems

Processing goods in/out documentation and delivery notes

Coordinating dispatch schedules and liaising with drivers and couriers

Maintaining accurate inventory levels and reporting discrepancies

Supporting purchasing and production teams with stock information

Filing and maintaining warehouse documentation and records

Assisting with audits and stock takes
Warehouse Support Duties (as required):

Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch

Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries

Organising and maintaining warehouse storage areas

Supporting general warehouse operations during busy periods

Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse administration or similar role

Strong organisational and multitasking skills

Good IT skills, including experience with stock management systems

Willingness to undertake physical warehouse duties when needed

Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
