About the Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly organised and proactive People Administrator to join their supportive and fast‑paced People team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a rewarding career within HR, with exposure to a broad range of activities and genuine room for progression.
In this role, you'll play an important part in supporting the end‑to‑end employee experience. You'll help ensure seamless People processes, maintain accurate systems, and provide approachable first‑line support to colleagues across the business. As your confidence and capability grow, you'll have the opportunity to work on wider HR projects, process improvements and areas that genuinely interest you.
Whether you're at the beginning of your HR journey or currently studying towards CIPD, this position offers clear development, hands‑on learning, and excellent long‑term potential.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle & Administration
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes from start to finish
Prepare contracts, offer letters and employee documentation
Maintain accurate HR systems and employee records
Manage the People Team inbox, providing timely and supportive responsesPeople & Employee Relations Support
Offer first‑line guidance on HR policies and processes
Support employee relations activities, including minute‑taking
Build strong relationships across both Head Office and Retail teamsData, Reporting & Compliance
Maintain accurate HR data across all platforms
Collate People metrics and identify trends to support decision‑making
Assist with compliance requirements and documentation updatesRecruitment Support
Contribute to a smooth end‑to‑end recruitment process
Track recruitment activity and maintain clear reporting
Help ensure an excellent candidate experienceProjects & Continuous Improvement
Support People‑focused projects across wellbeing, engagement, systems, and processes
Suggest improvements and contribute to enhancing team efficiency
