An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join an industry leading organisation on a temporary basis. This role is a full time position for an initial period of 4 weeks due to an absence within the team, and within the role, you will report into the Finance Manager. The role will be hybrid working, with up to 2 days a week at home.
As the incoming Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be tasked with the following duties:
Process invoices and obtain required approvals.
Resolve invoice and payment queries.
Prepare supplier payments and reconcile accounts.
Support financial reporting and related tasks.
Assist with maintaining finance processes.
As the successful candidate, you will have previous experience working in an Accounts Payable role, with good knowledge of accounting systems and procedures. You will also have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and be comfortable working as part of a team.
