Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting experienced Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of vibrant and supportive secondary schools in Liverpool. We are looking for enthusiastic, patient, and dedicated individuals who have experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and are passionate about helping young people reach their full potential.
Role Overview
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to students with a range of SEN needs (including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties).
Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and adapting materials to suit individual learning styles.
Help create an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
Support students in developing confidence, independence, and social skills.
Follow safeguarding and behaviour management policies at all times.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience working with SEN students (school-based or similar care/mentoring roles).
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
A proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider school team.
Availability for full-time, part-time, or flexible work patterns.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
