We are seeking a motivated Multi Utilities Operative with experience in the clean and wastewater sector to join our dedicated team. Working across United Utilities sites throughout the Northwest, you will play a key role in maintaining our high standards of service while always ensuring safety and compliance.
What will your day look like…
Carry out site duties as directed by your Team Leader, following Avove’s Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental policies, as well as our Work Together, Safe Together ethos.
Report all good calls, close calls and near misses through the e20 Health & Safety reporting system.
Identify and promptly report any unsafe acts or conditions.
Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers.
Adhere to Street Works regulations, use materials efficiently and return unused materials to stores.
Maintain a clean and tidy work site, ensuring tools and equipment remain in good condition and reporting any issues to your Team Leader.
About you…
Hold NRSWA certification with proven experience in signing, lighting and guarding.
Possess a valid driving licence and be willing to travel within the contract area.
Demonstrate a proactive, responsible and flexible approach with strong teamwork and problem solving skills.
Deliver high quality work on time while showing a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and work safely in confined spaces within a civils environment.
Maintain a strong commitment to health, safety, quality and environmental standards at all times.
