Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
We are working with a specialist SEN school in Folkestone that supports children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and complex learning needs. The school provides a structured, nurturing environment where every pupil is encouraged to thrive both academically and emotionally.
They are now looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team.
The Role: Learning Support Assistant
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with ASC and complex SEN needs
Support students with communication, emotional regulation, and social development
Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored learning strategies
Help manage challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent manner
Foster a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate: Learning Support Assistant
Experience working with children or young people with ASC and/or complex needs (school-based or transferable experience)
A calm, patient, and resilient personality
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to remain composed in challenging situations
