The Opportunity
On behalf of my client, I am recruiting for a Customer Service Representative to join a well-established, globally operating organisation within the engineering and manufacturing sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team, working within a fast-paced commercial environment.
The Role
Reporting to the UK Sales Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a high level of customer service while supporting internal sales and operational functions. This is a varied position requiring strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Communicating with customers via email and telephone, providing updates on commercial matters
Creating new customer accounts and maintaining accurate records for existing clients
Processing customer orders using ERP systems and responding to order progress enquiries
Managing invoicing and order acknowledgement processes
Handling quotations and supporting contract review activities
Providing support to external Sales Engineers
Processing customer claims, returns, and credits
Updating and maintaining CRM systems
Liaising with European sales teams to gather information and support customer requestsAbout You
Previous experience in a customer service or similar administrative role
Educated to GCSE level (Grade 4/C or above) in English and Maths (or equivalent)
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure
Experience with ERP/MRP systems is desirable but not essential
Background in engineering or manufacturing would be advantageousWhat's on Offer
