Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Outskirts of Maldon, Essex (near South Woodham Ferrers)
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (rising to £12.71ph from 1st April)
Job Type: Temporary - Ongoing
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 11:00pm (other shifts may be available)
Important: Candidates must have their own transport and a valid UK driving licence due to the site location.
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing site on the outskirts of Maldon. This ongoing temporary role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is happy to support machine operators and general factory operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with operating and loading production machinery
Support CNC machine operators with daily tasks
Use basic hand tools during the production process
Handle and move materials safely around the factory
Perform general factory and production duties as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Working Hours & Pay
Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 11:00pm (other hours may be available)
£12.21 per hour (rising to £12.71ph from 1st April)
Candidate Requirements
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential
Ability to use basic hand tools
Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic
Comfortable working efficiently in a busy production setting
