Location: Sowton Industrial Estate, Exeter
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:30
Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 (Experience dependent)

Recruitment Solutions are working with a long‑established rubber fabrication business specialising in the manufacture of high‑performance rubber products for harsh industrial environments. With a team of six dedicated people, they pride themselves on quality, reliability, and excellent customer service. They are now looking for a highly organised and proactive Sales Administration, Stores & Despatch Coordinator to join the friendly team.
This is a varied, hands‑on role at the heart of operations ideal for someone who enjoys structure, responsibility, and working across multiple functions.
What You’ll Be Doing
Sales Administration

Preparing quotations for stock items

Handling customer orders via phone, email, and occasional walk‑ins

Processing orders using Sage and sending order acknowledgements

Liaising with production and purchasing for bespoke or out‑of‑stock items

Monitoring outstanding orders and preparing despatch documentation
Stores Management

Keeping the stores area clean, tidy, and well organised

Maintaining accurate stock levels on Sage

Setting up and managing minimum stock level systems

Working with production and purchasing to ensure stock availability

Conducting quarterly stock takes for financial reporting

Carrying out interim stock checks for day‑to‑day management
Despatch

Picking and packing orders efficiently and accurately

Preparing all necessary paperwork and labelling

Ensuring urgent spares orders are despatched same day where required
Transport & Export

Booking UK and overseas shipments

Liaising with freight companies for import/export movements

Preparing export documentation (full training provided)

Recording product information for commercial invoices and compliance
What they are Looking For

Highly organised, structured, and reliable

Able to work independently after training

Confident communicating with management, office staff, and production

Comfortable juggling varied tasks across admin, stores, and despatch

Experience with Sage (advantageous but not essential)

A positive, proactive approach and strong attention to detail
