Job Title: Scheduler / Administrator

Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Scheduler / Administrator to join a growing and busy team based in Harrogate. This role will support the day-to-day coordination of engineering works while providing general administrative support to ensure smooth operational delivery.
The successful candidate will play a key role in scheduling engineers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting various internal functions including operations, compliance, and accounts.
Key Responsibilities
The role will involve supporting the effective planning, coordination, and administration of works, including scheduling a team of field-based engineers and monitoring job progress from initial booking through to completion and invoicing.
You will be responsible for maintaining and updating internal systems and client portals with accurate job information, ensuring all works are recorded correctly and completed in line with requirements. This will include creating and issuing reports, sample certificates, and supporting documentation.
The role will also involve monitoring stock levels of equipment, chemicals, and office supplies, as well as tracking equipment calibration dates and arranging replacements or servicing where required.
You will assist with the preparation of fee proposals, logbooks, and electronic record systems, ensuring all data is up to date and compliant. Additional duties include managing subcontractor bookings, supporting permit and RAMS processes, and assisting with compliance-related administration such as training records and competency tracking.
The position will also involve general office duties such as handling incoming calls and emails, booking accommodation for engineers, and supporting the accounts team with expenses, financial data, and invoicing processes.
