Veritas Education is working with a well‑established secondary school in Hampton who are seeking a confident, supportive and motivated Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build experience within education, youth work, coaching or a related field.
The Role
Supporting students across KS3 & KS4 in a range of subjects
Providing 1:1 and small‑group support to help pupils stay engaged and make progress
Assisting with classroom routines, behaviour and lesson preparation
Building positive relationships with young people and acting as a reliable role model
Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support learning and wellbeing
Support the set up and running of a new literacy programme
What the School Is Looking For
Someone confident, patient and proactive with young people
Ability to build rapport and communicate well
Interest in education, youth work, sports coaching, mentoring or similar
Reliability, resilience and a strong team ethic
Previous experience with young people is beneficial but not essential
