Job Title: Press Brake Operative
Location: Bolton
Salary: £19.22 per hour
Working Hours: 37 hours per week (4-day week, Monday to Thursday)
Shifts: Either 6:30am – 4:15pm or 7:00am – 4:45pm (to be confirmed at interview)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operative to join a busy and well-established manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a structured production environment, offering a competitive hourly rate and a 4-day working week.
Key Responsibilities

Pressing (using Press Brake) of door components and related parts/assemblies in Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel, and other materials as required.

Working to strict Inspection and Test Plans, under close supervision, when required.

Using overhead crane.

All work produced is to be capable of passing relevant inspection.

Unpacking of delivered material and repacking as required after pressing, including kitting.

Maintain the press brake work area in a clean, orderly and safe condition.

Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret pressing requirements.

May be required to undertake and pass a security background check.

Ability to work to safe standard, and compliance with Company Health and Safety requirements.

Any other ad hoc duties as may be required and as are commensurate with the grade of the post

About You
-
Proven experience operating a press brake
-
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
-
Valid overhead crane certification
-
FLT (Forklift Truck) licence (desirable)

Strong attention to detail and quality standards

Good communication skills and the ability to follow processes

Experience in the use of Route Cards / Process Flow Trackers / Travellers/ MITP
-
Own transport is required
