We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious GIRS Gas Operative to join our team. Working under the direction of the Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring gas networks are installed safely, professionally, and to a high standard.
What You’ll be doing

Working closely with the Team Leader day-to-day

Supporting the Team Leader with the installation of gas networks on new build construction sites

Assisting with laying, connecting, and testing gas infrastructure
-
Helping to record details of the work carried out
-
Making sure you and those around you stay safe at all times by following all Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental guidelines

Reporting any accidents or near misses
-
Attending toolbox talks and following site instructions
-
Keeping the site clean, safe, and organised

Taking part in training when needed
The Person
-
Registered with the Energy & Utility Skills Register (EUSR) – essential
-
SHEA (Gas) & NC01 certifications – essential
-
Full UK driving licence – essential
