Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00, Friday 08:30 - 16:30
The Role:
Our client is looking for a Production Assistant to join their manufacturing team. You will be responsible for building and assembling equipment to production schedules, ensuring high quality standards throughout. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical, technical work and takes pride in producing quality products.
Key Responsibilities:

Build finished products and sub-assemblies to production schedules

Wiring and soldering of electronic components

Testing assembled units to quality standards

Configuring PCs and setting up radio channels

Once trained, calibrating completed units ready for dispatch

Maintaining a clean and organised work area

Following health and safety procedures

Flagging any quality issues or production delays
Essential:

Practical, hands-on approach with good manual dexterity

Experience with wiring, soldering or electronics assembly

Ability to follow technical instructions and work to specifications

Good attention to detail and commitment to quality

Reliable and able to work to deadlines

Comfortable using PCs and basic software
Desirable:
Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays (3 days reserved for Christmas closure)
Full training provided on our products and calibration processes
Office-based role in Banbury with a friendly, supportive team
