Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Credit Controller / Credit Control Administrator to support their busy finance team. This is a fast‑paced, demanding, yet highly rewarding environment where you will be able to develop your skills and take on new challenges.
Your new role
In this Credit Controller / Administrator position, you will support the credit control function while also carrying out a range of finance and administrative duties. You will manage multiple ledgers, assist with customer account maintenance, and ensure the smooth running of day‑to‑day credit processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing credit control activity across several ledgers
Chasing overdue invoices via phone, email, and written communication
Ensuring payments are received in line with agreed terms
Processing new credit applications and monitoring customer credit limits
Supporting the negotiation of payment plans and settlements
Preparing reports on outstanding debt and collection progress
Handling customer queries and resolving billing or payment issues
Posting receipts, updating customer accounts, and completing reconciliations
Producing monthly statements and reminder letters
Providing general administrative support to the finance teamWhat you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience in credit control or a finance administration role
Strong communication and customer‑facing skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good organisational ability
Confidence in working independently and as part of a team
Good working knowledge of Excel (advantageous)What you'll get in return
A full‑time, permanent role working Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week
Office based 5 days a week
Option to finish early on Friday (2.30pm) through making time up over the course of the week.
Competitive salary of up to £27,000
