Spire Fylde Coast is currently looking for a Host/Catering Assistant to join there busy catering team on a Bank basis you will be covering annual leave and sickness.
Duties and responsibilities:
Supporting our Catering team in delivering a high standard of service to patients on the wards, including helping with menu choices, serving meals, and ensuring regular refreshments.
Assisting our Chefs with basic food preparation, stock rotation, and maintaining cleanliness in our restaurant and kitchen areas.
Providing friendly, attentive service to patients, visitors, and colleagues, always maintaining a professional and approachable manner.
Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are met, with full compliance at all times.
Respecting patient confidentiality and contributing to a calm, welcoming environment.
Who we're looking for:
- Previous experience in catering in a similar environment is essential.
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is a minimum requirement.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a busy setting.
- A positive, flexible attitude and strong communication skills.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service with empathy and professionalism.
