This brand-new, modern Care Home has only been open at their new site for 1 year and is looking for a permanent Cleaner to join their housekeeping team. As a Cleaner / Domestic Assistant you will contribute to the provision of a safe, clean and comfortable environment for the residents, visitors and staff by providing domestic services that ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
You will assist with the cleaning of the home for the areas you are assigned each day, including lounges, hallways, resident’s rooms and en-suites, whilst always respecting the privacy and individual needs of the residents. As a part of your role you will ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and work collaboratively within a team of other Cleaners.
The ideal Cleaner / Domestic Assistant candidate will have some prior experience in a care home or hospital environment although this is not essential. You should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work flexibly within the care home alongside a variety of people.
As a successful Cleaner you will receive a full induction and training programme as well as continuing support throughout your employment.
