Questech Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Despatch Operative to join a growing team based at High Marnham. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with an immediate start available.
Job Title: Despatch Operative
Location: High Marnham
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: £14.28 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm
The successful candidate will support the despatch and yard operations, ensuring goods are moved, loaded, and prepared for transport safely and efficiently.
Training Period
For the first two weeks, you will work 6:00am – 2:00pm to complete training with the existing team before moving onto the permanent shift of 2:00pm – 10:00pm.
Key Responsibilities

Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently

Operating a counterbalance forklift truck to move materials around site

Shunting vehicles within the yard when required

Preparing goods for despatch and checking orders for accuracy

Following site health and safety procedures at all times

Supporting general yard and operational duties as needed
Requirements

Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence

Shunter Licence (essential)

Previous experience within a despatch, warehouse, or yard environment

Good understanding of health and safety procedures

Reliable and able to work as part of a team
