Responsibilities in your new role as Finance Assistant
As the Finance Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance team's daily operations. Your responsibilities will include essential data entry, efficient invoice processing, meticulous bank reconciliations, and accurate expense tracking.
You will also assist with VAT returns, contribute to monthly reporting, and ensure all financial records are maintained precisely in line with UK regulations and established company procedures. Your contributions will be key to the smooth running of the department.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We're looking for a highly motivated and organised individual with a robust administrative background. While a formal finance qualification isn't strictly required, ideal candidates will possess some foundational experience in basic finance-related duties, such as handling invoices, performing bank reconciliations, or managing supplier statements.
