Job Overview
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Refuse Loaders to join our team in Ferndown. This role plays an important part in supporting waste collection services by assisting with the safe and efficient loading of refuse and recycling.
This is a physically active role, ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and as part of a team.
Working Hours
Monday - Friday
Shift range: 06:00 - 14:00
Hours are allocated weekly and may vary depending on operational requirements.
Important Information
Induction date: 16/03/2026
Start date: Immediate start available following induction
Please note that specific hours cannot always be guaranteed in advance, as shifts are assigned on a weekly basis.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the collection and loading of refuse and recycling from residential and commercial areas.
Load and unload materials safely following company procedures.
Ensure loads are secure and handled correctly before transportation.
Work closely with the driver and team members to maintain efficient collection routes.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Skills & Requirements
Ability to carry out heavy lifting and physical work.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Mechanical awareness or experience using loading equipment is beneficial but not essential.
A reliable and proactive attitude.
