What you’ll be getting stuck into as a Kitchen Assistant/Trainer
Supporting daily kitchen operations while maintaining excellent cleanliness and hygiene standards
Assisting with the preparation and service of food and drinks within the coffee shop
Helping deliver catering services including buffets, refreshments, cakes, nursery food, afternoon teas across the borough
Working directly alongside trainees to support learning and practical work experience
Ensuring health, safety, and food hygiene standards are consistently followed
Supporting deliveries and occasional transport duties using company vehicles
What you’ll bring to the table as a Kitchen Assistant/Trainer
Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen or coffee shop environment
Knowledge of food hygiene and safe kitchen practices
Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities or autism
Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with customers and trainees
Full UK driving licence
Working hours: 18 hours per week, 9:00/9.30am – 3:00/3.30pm across 3 days (with additional hours available to cover holidays or sickness).
