Conrad Consulting are working closely with a Chartered Architectural practice based in SW London to source a talented Part II Architectural Assistant with at least one year of UK practice experience. The Role
As a Part II Architectural Assistant, you’ll work alongside architects, technologists, and wider design teams to support the delivery of projects from early concept stages through to detailed design. You’ll be involved in producing high-quality drawings, developing design proposals, and assisting with coordinated project documentation using Revit as your primary tool.
Your role will include preparing information for planning applications, supporting technical design packages, and contributing to the smooth progression of projects across multiple RIBA stages. You’ll gain exposure to large-scale residential and commercial schemes, working within a practice known for its collaborative culture and strong technical delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Part II looking to deepen their experience on complex projects while being supported by a highly experienced team.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 1 year of UK practice experience post-Part II qualification
Strong proficiency in Revit (essential, Used in practice)
Experience working on large-scale residential or commercial projects
Solid understanding of UK planning policy and Building Regulations
Ability to produce clear, accurate drawings and presentation material
Confident working across multiple RIBA stages, particularly design development
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
A proactive approach to problem-solving and professional development
What’s on Offer
The successful Part II Architectural Assistant will receive a salary of £32,000 - £36,000 (dependent on experience), a supportive working environment, hybrid working options following probation, and opportunities for continued professional development, including dedicated support and mentorship towards Part III qualification.
