Location: Wortley, Leeds (LS12)
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm (30-minute unpaid break)

Search Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative with a valid FLT Counterbalance licence to work for our client based in the Wortley area of Leeds (LS12). This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity with a well-established roofing supplies business, offering stable hours and the chance to secure a permanent position with the company.
Key Responsibilities
Operating a counterbalance forklift truck to move and load materials
Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
Picking and preparing roofing materials for customer collections and deliveries
Assisting with general yard duties and maintaining a clean, organised workspace
Serving customers attending the site, providing helpful and professional service
Following all health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (essential)
Previous experience working in a yard, warehouse, or builders/roofing merchants environment is desirable
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
Confident and customer-focused, with the ability to deal with customers on site
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
