Are you passionate about giving young children the best possible start in life? Supply Desk are seeking a caring and dedicated Early Years SEN Support Assistant to join the friendly and nurturing early years setting in Brighton that we proudly work alongside. In this role, you’ll support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with Special Educational Needs, providing personalised care and learning support to children with EHCPs and emerging additional needs. You’ll help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can develop socially, emotionally, and academically at their own pace. You will work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to deliver structured routines, sensory support, and play-based learning strategies that promote communication, independence, and emotional regulation.
Key Skills & Experience:
Experience or a strong interest in supporting young children with SEN, including ASD, speech & language needs, or social and emotional difficulties.
A good understanding of the EYFS framework and inclusive early years practice.
Confidence using play-based, child-led approaches and adapting activities to meet individual needs.
A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic attitude, with a genuine passion for early childhood development.

6 months of previous experience working with children preferred.
