While our Covent Garden theatre is the nerve centre, the impact and influence of the organisation can be felt in every corner of the country, and around the world.We are looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic Events Manager to strategically plan and deliver first class events and experiences across the Development and Advocacy department to a wide range of stakeholders, ranging from philanthropists to commercial venue hire. This role works within a fast-paced Events team and is critical to the successful delivery of the function. The ideal candidate will have exceptional people skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure. They will be a flexible, proactive team player who can evidence (or demonstrate transferable skills in) the following: A track record in events organising, delivery and promotionStrong project management, including planning and prioritisation, and documentation preparation skillsCommitment to delivering a first-rate service to clients, philanthropists and potential supportersExcellent face-to-face communication and negotiation skills, including experience of dealing with senior level businesspeople and philanthropistsHighly proficient Microsoft Office user with good database and Excel skills Ability to work collaboratively across an organisation, with an adaptable mindset and strong relationship building skills.
