The Opportunity
As Mortgage Team Leader, you will oversee a team responsible for supporting customers across the mortgage lifecycle. You will play a key role in developing your team's capability, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving strong customer outcomes.
This role blends technical mortgage knowledge with people leadership, making it ideal for someone who enjoys coaching, improving performance and fostering a positive, customer-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and develop a team within a regulated mortgage environment
Provide coaching and technical guidance on mortgage cases
Support decision-making to ensure fair and sustainable customer outcomes
Monitor quality, performance and compliance standards
Drive continuous improvement across processes and service deliveryWhat We're Looking For
Experience working within a regulated mortgage environment
Strong understanding of the end-to-end mortgage journey
Confident applying lending principles and sound judgement
Previous experience supporting or mentoring colleagues (formal management experience welcome but not essential)
Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
