Pro-Resourcing Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of our client.
Our client, an innovator in the design and manufacture of ventilation and air-movement products, is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to join their team.
The position is full time, permanent.
Salary: Up to £50,000.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management

Lead and develop a multi disciplined team through R&D, design and production engineering.

Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, structure and accountability.

Lead engineering projects with clear strategic direction and effective resource planning.

Ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.

Monitor team performance and support professional development.

Oversee recruitment, training, and succession planning for the engineering team.
Product Design & Development
-
Manage the full product life cycle from concept and prototyping to testing, certification, and manufacturing handover.

Ensure products comply with ventilation, energy efficiency, and safety standards.

Collaborate with product management to translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions.
Technical & Regulatory Oversight

Ensure designs comply with relevant industry regulations, building regulations and standards, and environmental and sustainability directives.

Oversee product testing, validation, and certification.

Manage relationships with external suppliers, service providers, testing labs, and certification bodies.
Requirements
-
Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).

6+ years’ engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Understanding of relevant manufacturing standards and regulations.

Experience with CAD - SolidWorks.

Strong project management experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable

Background in ventilation, HVAC, air handling, or related electromechanical systems.

Experience with CFD analysis, noise reduction techniques, or thermal performance modelling.
