The Role – Pensions Administrator Cardiff
The successful candidate will support the administration of occupational pension schemes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high-quality service delivery within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities

Administer pension schemes in accordance with scheme rules and UK legislation

Process member events including retirements, transfers, deaths, and leavers

Perform pension benefit calculations and prepare quotations and correspondence

Maintain accurate member records and ensure data integrity

Respond to member, trustee, and client queries in a professional manner

Liaise with actuaries, trustees, investment managers, and third-party providers

Support compliance, governance, and audit processes
The level of responsibility will reflect the candidate’s experience, with training provided where required.
Candidate Requirements

Experience in occupational pensions administration preferred but not essential

Understanding of UK pensions legislation and regulatory requirements desirable

Strong numerical and analytical skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Professional written and verbal communication skills
