Responsibilities:
• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries of electrical products and materials
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch to customers and branches
• Accurately locating and handling stock
• Maintaining stock levels and assisting with stock counts and inventory checks
• Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards
• Loading and unloading goods, using manual handling equipment where required
• Liaising with colleagues, drivers, and trade counter staff to ensure timely order fulfilment
• Identifying damaged or missing items and reporting discrepancies
• Act as cover Driver on the Delivery Van
Skills/experience:
• Warehouse experience in the electrical wholesale (or related merchant) industry
• Driving Licence
• Ability to work in a fast paced and professional environment
• Ability to work alone and within a team
Hours:
• Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
• 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 8am - 12pm
