Job Description: Customer Validation & Master Data Representative
Contract Length: 12 months
Hours: 37 hours per week
Work Location: Onsite (Sandwich or Walton Oaks)
Pay rate: up to £23p/h
ROLE PURPOSE
The Customer Validation & Master Data Representative plays a vital role in the Customer Account and Supply Management function within Global Supply Chain. This team collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure the secure, compliant, and timely supply of medicines. The role supports the Customer Account & Supply Management Manager to ensure customer master data, validations, and associated processes are executed accurately and efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Account Set‑Up & Master Data Maintenance
Validate new customer account requests and updates.
Create and amend customer master data in SAP.
Communicate with customers to obtain missing details.
Maintain clear records for audit compliance.
Customer Query Resolution
Respond to internal and external enquiries.
Collaborate with partners to resolve issues.
Maintain service levels and customer satisfaction.
Periodic Customer Revalidations
Conduct scheduled revalidations following SOP timelines.
Complete required updates and maintain accurate records.
Licensing & Regulatory Validation
Perform periodic checks to avoid supplying unlicensed premises.
Track licence changes and follow up with customers.
Ensure compliance with GDP requirements.
System Monitoring & Issue Resolution
Monitor customer data flow between Pfizer and Alliance Healthcare.
Identify and correct interface errors.
Support data quality initiatives.
Continuous Improvement & Project Support
Act as SME for assigned areas.
Support business changes and cross-functional projects.
Identify and contribute to process enhancements.
Mailbox, Filing & Records Management
Manage team mailboxes and respond same-day.
Maintain accurate filing structures and audit readiness.
Perform regular archiving and housekeeping.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work with colleagues across GSC and commercial teams.
Contribute to initiatives improving customer experience and data quality.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Required:
GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
Experience handling challenging customer queries.
Strong IT skills including MS Office.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to make informed decisions.
Comfortable in dynamic, multitasking environments.
Basic data analysis skills.Preferred:
B2B customer service experience.
SAP experience.
