We are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-established and growing engineering client based in Littleport, who is seeking a Yard Operative to join their team.
Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am – 2:00pm
Duties will include:

Operating Counterbalance FLT
-
Loading and unloading vehicles (goods in & goods out)

Manual handling of heavy engineering materials and components

Picking, preparing and dispatching orders

Using hand and power tools
-
Supporting general yard and workshop operations
The ideal candidate will have:
-
A valid Counterbalance FLT licence
-
Experience within a yard, warehouse or engineering environment
-
Experience using hand and power tools
-
Good understanding of safe manual handling practices
-
Be physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
-
A reliable and hardworking attitude
-
Access to own transport
This is a physically demanding role and will involve regular heavy lifting.
