Warehouse Operative – Nights
Full-Time | Permanent | Up to £32,500 per annum
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative to join their busy night operation. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced warehouse environment handling a variety of cargo, primarily perishable goods.
Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out a wide range of warehouse tasks, including manual handling of chilled, frozen and ambient products.

Operating counterbalance forklift trucks ranging from 1.5t to 8t (valid FLT licence preferred).

Accurately picking, packing, breaking down and sorting consignments in line with operational instructions and timeframes.

Loading and unloading vehicles, from small vans through to articulated lorries, including third-party drivers.

Organising, stacking and assembling aircraft pallets, recording stock movements on the internal system and producing relevant documentation.

Working closely with the Night Shift Leader to ensure all nightly objectives are completed as directed by warehouse management.

Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety to ensure a clean and secure working environment.
Shift Pattern:
This role operates on a 4-on, 4-off rotation, working from 19:00 to 07:00.
There are regular overtime opportunities, particularly during peak months (February, March and December). You will also be expected to provide holiday cover for your counterpart when required. Overtime shifts attract an additional bonus payment.
Wages are paid weekly, every Wednesday.
