A well-established hospitality company based in London's West End who are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Assistant on an ongoing basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast‑paced, friendly finance team within a dynamic hospitality environment.
Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Manager, the Purchase Ledger Assistant will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end purchase ledger function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
Matching, batching and coding invoices
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
Managing supplier accounts and maintaining strong relationships
Preparing payment runs and supporting month-end processes
Assisting with ad-hoc finance duties as required
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable role
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment (hospitality experience is an advantage)
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Confident communicator with a proactive approach
Good working knowledge of accounting systems and ExcelWhat you'll get in return
