We are looking for a commercially minded, detail-focused Retail Buyer to support our award-winning and fast-growing farm shop.
As the shop continues to expand – with a newly renovated space, cheese room, deli and butchery – we are separating buying from operational management to ensure strong stock control, margin protection and seasonal product development.
This part-time role is ideal for someone with previous retail buying experience who is looking for flexible weekday hours within a high-quality independent food retail environment.
The Role
You will:

Oversee product ordering across grocery, chilled and seasonal ranges

Maintain accurate stock levels and manage purchase orders

Monitor margins, pricing and product performance

Work closely with the Retail Operations Manager and Buying Assistant on promotions and seasonal campaigns

Oversee stockroom organisation and product flow

Keep EPOS/back-office systems up to date

Support and guide the Buying Assistant
Part-time On Site (16 hours per week across 4 days Tuesday - Friday). Some flexibility is required during peak seasons. Hourly rate of c £15; employed also an option
