Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Administrator to work with an NHS organisation based in Grantham. This is a temporary assignment working 37.5 hours per week (8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday). The role sits within the Outpatients bookings team, and is a busy and varied role providing administrative support to ensure smooth patient pathways and clinic management.
Overview:
The role will involve providing high quality administrative support within the Outpatient Bookings Team, ensuring accurate patient bookings, records and clinic lists. You will work closely with clinical teams, service coordinators and patients to maintain efficient outpatient services
Main Duties:

Manage outpatient referrals, bookings and appointment scheduling

Maintain and update electronic patient records and clinic systems

Monitor waiting lists and clinic lists to ensure accuracy and efficiency

Prepare documentation, reports and correspondence related to outpatient services

Support meeting coordination and general service administration within the team

Respond to telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner

Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements
Essential Criteria:

Previous experience within an administrative role in an NHS or similar healthcare setting

Experience using electronic record systems such as EPR, EMIS or SystmOne

Knowledge of outpatient bookings, clinic lists or patient pathways is desirable

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
