Role Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Assistants to join our welcoming nurseries in the Pewsey area, providing a warm and supportive environment for children to thrive. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of children, creating a safe and nurturing atmosphere, and working collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of creative and educational activities that promote children’s development and learning
Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that fosters children’s happiness and well-being
Work closely with the team to maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere, ensuring effective communication and teamwork
Support daily routines, including mealtimes, outdoor play, and rest periods, always prioritising children’s needs and well-being
Required Skills & Experience
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
Energy, creativity, and a positive attitude, with a willingness to engage in activities that promote children’s learning and well-being
Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and build strong relationships with children and families
Childcare qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare, are beneficial but not essential, as training and support will be provided
