Job Title: 2 Weeks Warehouse Operative (AM Shift)
Start Date: 30th March
We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives on behalf of a well-established global parcel delivery company. This role is to support the warehouse team over the busy Easter period. It is initially a two-week assignment for Easter cover, however there may be the opportunity for ongoing or long-term work for reliable and hardworking candidates.
You'll be working in a fast-paced distribution warehouse where parcels are processed and sorted to ensure they reach customers on time. This is a hands-on, physically active role suited to someone who is dependable and comfortable working early morning shifts.
Shift Pattern: Tuesday - Saturday
Hours: 00:30am - 08:00am (30 hours per week)
Base Pay Rate: £13.29 per hour
Night Bonus: Additional £1.73 per hour for all hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am
Location: Alton, GU34
What You Will Be Doing:
Sorting parcels by postcode and delivery route
Scanning, loading, and unloading packages in a busy warehouse environment
Using warehouse equipment and scanning technology where required
Moving parcels safely and efficiently to meet dispatch deadlines
Following all Health & Safety regulations
Supporting your supervisor and team members as required
Requirements:
Previous experience in a warehouse environment
Physically fit and comfortable lifting parcels
Reliable and able to commit to the set shift pattern
Good attention to detail
Right to work in the UK
