Quality & Compliance Consultant – Health & Social Care
Field Based Role – Travel Required
3 Month Contract
£325 – £350 per day
We are recruiting an experienced Quality & Compliance Assistant to support a range of health and social care services on a 3-month contract across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Wiltshire.
This role is ideal for someone who has previously worked in a Quality, Compliance, or Improvement role and is confident supporting services to meet regulatory standards and drive improvement.
About the Role:
You will work closely with Registered Managers and senior leadership teams to help services improve quality, safety, and compliance. The role involves regular travel between services, supporting both residential and supported living settings.
Key duties include:
Completing quality, compliance, and health & safety audits across services
Supporting Registered Managers to meet CQC and regulatory requirements
Reviewing risk assessments, governance systems, and service improvement plans
Identifying areas for improvement and helping teams implement positive change
Producing clear audit reports with practical recommendations
Supporting services to become and remain inspection ready
Coaching and guiding managers and staff on best practice and compliance
Monitoring progress following audits and tracking improvements
Escalating risks or concerns to ensure safe and effective care delivery
Sharing best practice and supporting continuous quality improvement across services
About You:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Previous experience in a Quality Assurance, Compliance, or Quality Improvement role within health & social care
Strong knowledge of CQC standards, governance, and HSE Regulatory Framework
Experience completing audits and supporting service improvement plans
Excellent report writing and communication skills
Confidence working independently and supporting senior managers
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple services
A proactive, solutions-focused approach
A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
