Where you'll work:
Located at Four Ashes in Staffordshire, our state-of-the-art Energy Recovery Facility utilises world-class technology to safely transform residual waste into clean energy for the National Grid. This impressive facility is designed to process 340,000 tonnes of waste every year that is not suitable for recycling or composting, diverting it from environmentally and financially costly landfill.
The plant generates 26 MW of sustainable energy, enough to power approximately 66,000 homes, making a significant contribution to the UK's renewable energy targets. As part of Veolia's mission to resource the world, this facility plays a vital role in the circular economy, turning waste into a valuable resource while reducing carbon emissions and supporting local communities.
You'll be working as part of a dedicated operations team in a modern, technologically advanced environment where safety, environmental compliance, and operational excellence are at the heart of everything we do.
