This role sits within the London Early Talent Recruitment Team and reports directly to the Apprenticeship and Internship Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong partnerships with schools, colleges, and third‑party organisations to attract a diverse and high‑quality early‑talent pipeline aligned to recruitment targets.
Design and deliver engaging attraction activity including insight events, networking sessions, and presentations to promote apprenticeship opportunities and strengthen employer brand presence.
Guide candidates through the end‑to‑end recruitment journey, delivering a positive and inclusive experience that supports conversion and minimises offer reneges.
Conduct high‑volume interviews during peak assessment periods, ensuring a fair, consistent, and high‑quality selection process.
Manage allocated budgets with accountability, ensuring accurate tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
Produce timely reporting and insight to support the Apprenticeships & Internships / Placements Manager with data‑driven decision‑making.
Monitor early‑talent market trends and competitor activity to identify new, innovative sourcing approaches and continuous improvement opportunities.
Contribute to cross‑team projects within the Early Talent Recruitment Team, supporting process improvement, innovation, and best‑practice delivery.
Candidate Management
Own and manage end‑to‑end recruitment pipelines for apprenticeship programmes, ensuring continuous candidate engagement and a consistently high‑quality experience throughout the hiring journey.
Track, analyse, and report on key pipeline metrics including attraction channel performance, diversity representation, assessment outcomes, and offer acceptance rates, proactively identifying risks and implementing solutions to optimise hiring results.
Support onboarding activity and maintain regular communication with apprentice joiners prior to start dates, helping to drive engagement, readiness, and a smooth transition into the organisation.
Relationship Management
Cultivate and sustain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, hiring managers, and external partners to ensure strong alignment with recruitment goals and successful hiring outcomes.
Collaborate with faculty at all levels to design and deliver tailored outreach initiatives, both in person and virtually, that drive engagement and awareness.
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with schools to boost employer brand visibility and attract a diverse pool of early talent.
Skills/Qualifications
Strong understanding of the Early Talent landscape, including student job‑seeking behaviours, attraction trends, and engagement drivers across competitive markets.
Solid working knowledge of UK Apprenticeship funding frameworks and compliance requirements, with the ability to apply this confidently within recruitment processes.
Proven experience in end‑to‑end candidate selection, interviewing, and assessment, with a clear commitment to data privacy, fairness, and equal opportunity standards.
Data‑driven and analytically minded, able to interpret recruitment metrics, identify risks and trends, and translate insight into clear, actionable recommendations.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to manage, analyse, and present recruitment data accurately and efficiently.
Strong presentation and communication skills, with confidence delivering attraction activity, events, and insights to candidates, educators, and internal stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to build and influence stakeholder and partner relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and external partners.
Highly organised and detail‑oriented, with experience managing multiple programmes, locations, and high‑volume assessment activity
Adaptable and resilient, with an agile mindset and the confidence to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving recruitment environment.
